Halloween Food Drive 2014

Phil Angeez & Skull create Trick or Treat House each year as a gift to their Hauntlake Neighbors.

Many folks have asked about making a contribution whether it be financial or extra bags of candy.

. 

The Skeletons decided to take that Community Giving Spirit and focus it on a Food Drive

 with all items collected being donated to Chicken Soup Brigade.

. 

These are the items that they need the most:

Multi-grain & Healthy Cereal

Canned Tuna

Canned Meals (Soup, Stew, etc)

Canned Beans

Peanut Butter
Canned Fruits & Vegetables

Macaroni & Cheese

Rice / Pasta Meals

Whole Wheat Dry Pasta 

Jarred or Canned Spaghetti Sauce

So, this year when you come by to see the Skellies

in their "super-natural" setting, The Hauntlake Cemetery ,

feel free to drop off an unexpired canned good or two in the graveside cabinet.

 

 .

Out of town friends of Trick or Treat House

and those wishing to make a cash Donation

to Lifelong/Chicken Soup Brigade

may do so through their website.

When prompted, "What inspired your gift today?",

Please choose "Trick or Treat House !" from the drop-down menu.

We're already receiving Food Donations. Thank you all so much.

Here's the Running Total, so far:

Canned Goods - 348 + 175 = 523 

Box Meals - 19 + 56 = 75

Dry Pasta -  8 + 14 = 22

Rice/Grains/Dry Beans - 2.5 + 6.5 = 9 lb

Cereal/Other -  4 + 1 = 5

Beverage -  2 + 38 = 40

Sauces/Other - 9 + 2 = 11 

Snacks - 20 + 55 = 75
 
Household/Other:
Misc. - 1 + 0 = 1
Pet Food - 19 + 0 = 19 

 

Cash Donations - $450 + $350 (on-line) = $800

 

Amounts in Orange are from Oct. 1 - 30, 2014 

Amounts in Blue are from Halloween Night - WOW !

Amounts in Yellow are the current grand totals 

 

The Totals are in ! 

In-kind Food Donations = 590 lbs. = $980

Cash & On-line Donations = $800 

for a Grand Total of $1780
